Install a duct to the outside of the 6” damper of the dehumidifier so as to provide the much needed fresh air ventilation. If you are using just one of the two supply, ensure that that the other supply is blocked. You may do this using the included duct cover plate. You may also duct the second supply to another location. It provides an additional source of air flow to your basement or it may supply air to any other HVAC system.
If you notice that the available system has several returns, you need not to install a dedicated return to the dehumidifier. At this point, all you need to do is to choose one from the already installed HVAC and use it for CoAiro XP170 return. Choose any of the open return from the central location and use it. However, you should not make use of any return from a closed room
